Hi all,

What's your thoughts on a lighting circuit doubled up in an mcb?

My friends flat has one circuit for the bedroom and front room lights, then a separate circuit for the kitchen, hall and bathroom.

I don't see a problem with making it into 1 circuit which will then provide a spare way.

Would this flag up when a periodic test and inspection is carried out?

The customer will have to be advised by Whazz about the situation, the customer will have to decide, it's their call how much money they want to fork out, we all know what we would like to see done, but it never happens this way, I'm as tight as a budgies nostril and would have the minimum as most would, but Whazz can only advise as he is the professional on site, if the work goes ahead he will have to tell them the work is notifiable if it indeed is so.
