Got a bit of a strange one that I haven't come across yet.
Only reason this come up was because a colleague mentioned if there was no RCD protection you can do an ELI from the lightswitch going between common / earth.
Thought I would give it a go and only get 100v at the switch, checked at the pendant and getting the following
Loop-N - 230v
SL - N - 230v
SL - E - 100v
Loop - E - 100v
N - E - 100v
bit puzzled (might be something stupid, might not) - Can anyone shed some light or any tests I should be doing.
Not had a chance to look at the CU yet as its dark and this was a quick experiment. Should mention this was not a dimmer switch but did have a Low Energy Bulb in it.
Am I right in thinking there is no earth at these lights??? Or is that jumping the gun a bit.
