What is your guys preferd method?

I was just gonna use 1.5mm Twin(brown cores) to link each light.

or should I t&e and connect block the earth. [ElectriciansForums.net] Linking Low Voltage Downlights
 
yep.1 each. if you get a tranny fail, only one light goes down. my earlier post mentioning flex was due to the trannies i have been using do not come with flex attached. those that do, wire primary cable into JB
 
and you only need a 60VA tranny for 1 light, about ÂŁ4 each. i prefer the trannies without leads as then i can use heat resistant flex on the 12v side. the number of burnt cables i've found on some trannies beggars belief.

can't remember now, it's a while since i used any. always try to use 230v GU10s where possible, unless customer insists on ELV, i try to steer clear. nothing but problems with 12v, least of all the current drawn at such a low voltage ( approx.5A ) rarely find problems with burnt lampholders on GU10s
