The responsibility for the performance of the lifts in all scenarios is down to the lift company, if we do not receive the correct signals externally they simply do not get connected to the lift system and the lift does not go into service until all functions have been tested for correct operation and conformity to standards.

The lift company & the fire alarm company, must demonstrate the cause & effects on a whitness test, before handover of both installs. Each effect must be proved to work to the specification, or both system will not be signed off
