i have a couple of tape measures, that i bought off amazon.com, that are in feet/inches/fractions - not a metric measurement in sight. of course, i only use them on my own jobs.

Last apprentice I had I convinced him there was a reg that prohibited qualified sparks from going in a loft if an apprentice was available. I made up a reg number and a pretty convincing H&S reason too. The daft git took it in

I have been crawling around in tiny lofts over the last month which is full of fibreglass, due to the fact I'm the only sausage who will do it and I like to lead by example, fibre glass should be banned IMO, bloody horrible stuff, still on the positive note I have made lots of dosh haha

with a decent duatmask and goggles and your fine with even the worst fibreglass (till goggles steam up)
