Looking to become a trainee BMS engineer

Hi.

Thought I'd post to see if I can make contact with someone in the BMS industry.

I'm an electrical tester who is looking to get into the BMS sector. I've tried and tried to get a trainee position, but seem to get pipped at the post and get nowhere!

I am very serious about becoming an engineer and am in the process of enrolling for Trend training and doing the BCIA courses.

I'm looking for a foot in the door, whether it be unpaid, low paid or whatever, I just would like a chance. In return you'll get a mature, technical minded individual with an appetite to learn.
I have studied engineering at college, worked in the electrical industry for years and am very computer literate - plus eager to learn.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Make a linkedin account, follow recruiter sites such as CBS butler, panacea selection ect. Link with recruiters from these companies and alike. Most job listings are looking for experience bms engineers but recruiters have connections throughout many companies who can negotiate you as a trainee starter. Having a electrical background will certainly help.

Schneider would be well worth sending a CV to, they maintain a lot of BMS systems
