Yes, that's right.

Havn't taken my blowlamp to a live cable since I left the jointing team 20 years ago.

Still trying to get the hang of these buttons and suffering from Eurovision fatigue.

Sorry mate. Sorry mate.

Needed some light relief from this electrical stuff.

I was going to ask for more detail on the adiobatic calculation, but think I'll have a beer instead.

Look up the formula adibatic equation in the back of the regs or even OSG and it will show you the formula

Have a beer and do it tomorrow tell the mrs Its research

the other 2 meters arent a problem, 1 is for nightstore heaters and the other must be redundant. sorry to be an idiot but what does 'sweating' mean?

Is it not a good idea to touch the clamp then? i was thinking of just putting a new 16mm from my earth block onto the clamp, but the clamp looks a bit strange and i dont wanna toucj anything that i'm not supposed to

aa "sweated" joint means its been soldered onto the main armour which could be lead. If it is then from the Main earth Terminal tothe cable belongs to the Distribution autority and dont touch.
