I’ve just found a brand new, or hardly used Martindale ET4000 for around £200. Has anyone any experience with this multimeter? I’m a fan of their voltage indicator and proving unit.

I have an ET4000, now 4 years old. Generaly I like it, but for one snag - the front panel push buttons become unreliable with use. After about 2 years I had several buttons so unreliable I took it apart and replaced the faulty ones. More recently I took it apart again and replaced several others. I could be unlucky, would be interesting to know if anyone else has had this issue.

Assuming this is for general electrical work £200 for a multimeter sounds ridiculous to me.
You can get a brand new megger multimeter for less than that.
