Hi all, sent my 1552 back to megger to be repaired. It's giving inconsistent continuity readings. Megger wanted ÂŁ385 just to look at it! Robbin *******s! Do I asked for the meter to be returned.
can anybody recomment a meter repair company?
thanks.

My 1552 went a few months back, the blown fuse sign kept coming up on IR readings at first, and changing the fuses would sort it for a couple of months, then it started doing it with continuity as well, went for repair, came back with same issue, went off again and not checked it since it returned because I'm now using a 1720. It's still sitting in the van taking up space.

My megger is doing the same. Please let me know if you get to the bottom of it. Not had mine looked at yet.

Not got a clue, at first simply replacing the fuse was curing the issue for a few months, even when it was going on IR tests, I was able to switch to ZS testing and complete that without any issues. It was only sent off once it started to go on continuity and as I said, came back with nothing fixed, when it was sent off again I picked up a 1720 at the same time so don't even know if it's been completely repaired at it's sat in the van since I picked it up last.
