Megger of fluke??

Hi all,

I am looking to buy myself some testers as i need to get more practice before my nic inspection.

im currently looking at megger 1552's or fluke 1652/ 1653. I don't have massive amount of money to spend as im just going out on my own.........

What's everyone's thoughts on the testers im looking at and how much would people expect to pay second hand on here or on the dreaded flebay.

Cheers for any help and advice in advance Ashley.

I use a megger 1553 great MFT and easy to use Fluke is good as well, as Millwall Ken says don't scrimp on test equipment, it might cost a bit at first but good equipment should give many years of good service if its maintained and calibrated as required, you only have one life so dont scrimp on this part of it

Megger all the way for me, i used the MFT 1552, and think its the best tester i have had...and i have had a few. Nice and simple ti use, which is a goos job because i am not very bright.
