Hi All,

does anyone know, when testing Ze on the Megger, and also getting the PFC at the same time, if the PFC provided is the higher of the PEFC and PSSC? ie, does it carry out both PFC tests simultaneously and provide worst case result or does it just test for the PEFC? Thanks in advance! Ps, I hope the question is clear!

which megger do you mean? on the 1552/3, it's a 2 wire test so you measure either pefc or pscc, 1 or the other, depending where you put your leads.assuming you are measuring Ze, then your leadsa are across L -E and so the fault current will be PEFC.

fail, fail and fail again.

how can you measure an accurate PFC whilst carrying out a Ze?

think about where the main earthing needs to be during Ze...then during a PEFC test...
