Sorry Jack just a bit of banter ......is there anything you need to know abaut the system...?

ha that's cool. The system is currently not energised and has not been energised for a number of years. I've got to make the descision on whether to repair/extend or replace completely.

Ok the sensors are near as old as the panel......and have a life expectancy of 10 years so will need changing.
Suggest new panel and detection, test cables for insulation....and take it from there....suggest using decent detection, like apollo s65 or hochiki and not expensive twinflex or other gear from the sheds......the bell circuit should checked but hopefully should be fine to use on a new system.
