Metal CableTie Tensioner

Has anyone used a Metal cable tie tensioner and cutter?

I have never used them before, as I don't often use metal ties, but spec asks for them, and thought it may make the job easier and quicker. There are so many out there at different price ranges,

Any advice?

tried the one for plastic ties once and binned it. as much use as an ashtray on a harley.

Agree with tel but on metal they are a must unless you want no fingers left. They are sharp as hell if they slip through your fingers

Yep use them on stainless ties, they are a must.

The brand escapes me tho..

To be honest if you don't have the proper tool they are rubbish you can't get them tight enough

Neweys do a good one, absolute must for metal ties

I used them when I was working, can't for the life of me recall who made them, just remembered LEGRAND
