Metal splashback in kitchen.

A client has a metal splash back on the wall along the length of the worktop in a kitchenette.

There are several sockets mounted flush in the splash back, the circuit is covered by a 30ma RCBO as you would expect.

Does it require bonding as being as there are sockets mounted in/on it as there is a potential to introduce a fault?

It isn't an extraneous conductive part so no need to bond it. As spin says earthing it might be required.

I'm about to fit a stainless splashback for a kitchen install I'm doing.

Never even thought about bonding it to be honest, should I?

if the socket faces are metallic, then the splashback would automatically be earthed.
