Hi Guys
My tenant has an Ampy 5184A electricity meter with Economy 7 for storage heaters (there's no gas in the area). Following a power cut the meter has ceased to work, showing a blank screen and no blinking red light to indicate power flow. He thinks the meter is no longer recording consumption and is using lots of electricity rather than reporting the fault. I've told him to stop because there's probably an internal counter and he will be billed when the meter is replaced. Does anyone know who is correct: him or me? Thank you.
