Hi all.

I am interested in the method used to connect the meter tails to a 100A isolator. Could anyone explain their method of connecting these meter tails to the isolator.

One of the biggest mistakes is using the correct gland and non ferrous gland plate and then putting a steel lock nut on the gland. Only seen it go badly wrong once but it was spectacular, I spilt my tea! 1000KVA transformer LV box went up in flames.

If you think about it 100A flowing through the core will give 100A flowing around the locknut. Not healthy.
