I'm just wondering, Is this 10 amps per switch or overall, or per switch, I've got a 2 gang switch thanks

What type of lights are they? Do they have ballasts or switchgear? Can you post a picture or give a make/model number of the light fittings?

You wouldn't drive your car at 86.9% throttle all day even if it is rated for 100% throttle, something will give.

infact lets run 6 seperate feeds 6 switches fed by 6a rcbo's

There are some good led alternatives nowadays,not that i would blame anyone in keeping costs down but the client will end up paying more in the long run,3kw of lighting over say 10 or 20 years will be more energy used,more lamp replacements and a bit of a false economy on their part,only my opinion.

Experience says otherwise.
And the total experience on here is considerable, but the less experienced don't seem to appreciate that.
