just deleted what i wrote, lol. It only equated to common sense approach.

But i blame NG Baileys, as they banned all phones from there sites after that utube vid :)

Really... From my working with NG baily sparks they spend all day tapping away on their smart phones logging jobs and sending emails

There's a lot to be considered, if your self employed and working for yourself a missed call could be a missed job, on the other hand if your working for somebody else ( cards or sub) then your taking calls in their time and their paying for you to have a chat
O n the health and safety issue phones can be distracting and condsidered a hazard.
Personally I ban the use of phones ( site manager excepted ) except for tea and lunch breaks

Yep your right.. Think you've hit the nail on the head bugsy.
I need to be able to answer calls when the office (for what ever reason) can't answer, otherwise it would mean lost business.
Customer won't leave answer phone messages.

But a word of warning... Don't use those b***dy call answering services.
We did they gave us £30 credit and only took 4 calls (all ******* cold call sales) and charged us £20 because we went over the £30 credit.
