ace of spades was my ringtone before i changed it to

she shook me all night long

Ringtone for the wife is Nickleback "You look so much cuter with something in your mouth"!!!! Not joking

Most modern pop songs are just nursery rhymes with a back beat.

Special recipients of my hatred are anyone who uses autotune, if you have to rely on that then you have no business being in the music industry and most rap. I can remember when a lot of it was good because it had a message but now it's just a bunch of black guys banging on about their bitches and ho's and about how cool they are.
The major target though is Eminem. I'm sick of hearing about his problems with his wife/mother/daughter/girlfriend/drugs and what a terrible childhood he had

Take away all the background 'production' and you're left with the nothing in the slightest bit tuneful, hence why you're not meant to hear it!!

Back in the day if you had four tracks to play with in a studio you were in the big league.

Nowadays the sky's the limit and months are spent recording just one number.

That's in stark contrast to The Animals who laid House of the Rising Sun down in ONE take!

Thanks to Wiki for this:

The Animals recorded this in one take, as they had perfected the song from years of performing it on the road. The Animals' drummer John Steel recalls in
1000 UK #1 Hits by Jon Kutner and Spencer Leigh, "We Played Liverpool on May 17 1964 and then drove to London where Mickie (Most) had booked a studio for ITV's Ready Steady Go! Because of the reaction we were getting to 'Rising Sun,' we asked to record it and he said, 'Okay we'll do it at the same session.' We set up for balance, played a few bars for the engineer - it was mono with no overdubs - and we only did one take. We listened to it and Mickie said, 'That's it, it's a single.' The engineer said it was too long, but instead of chopping out a bit, Mickie had the courage to say, 'We're in a microgroove world now, we will release it.' A few weeks later it was #1 all over the world. When we knocked The Beatles off the top in America, they sent us a telegram which read, 'Congratulations from The Beatles (a group)'" The producer Mickie Most recalls, "Everything was in the right place, the planets were in the right place, the stars were in the right place and the wind was blowing in the right direction. It only took 15 minutes to make so I can't take much credit for the production. It was just a case of capturing the atmosphere in the studio." (thanks, Edward Pearce - Ashford, Kent, England)

I did a one-off with Alan Price years ago, one of THE most miserable men I've ever met!!

I like most music, i can even listen to short periods of country/western music telling us of how someone shot me doug, but i just can't abide this American ghetto rap crap. I can't understand the buggers even when they are talking normally (if you can actually call it that).

All of them absolutely talentless crack heads that go from street gang banger criminals to stardom virtually overnight!!
ill listen to anything except rap/r+b i cant stand it.

opera, heavy metal even j-pop is better lol
