Hi all, and thanks in advance for any help that can be given.
I had a call out to a factory the other day to connect a new motor the maintenance guy had installed, he said the old one had given up. When I got there I connected it up, and it ran for a bit then stopped. After questioning the guy he said the old motor was doing the same and just presumed it was knackered (he obviously didn’t look at the inverter)
The inverter controlling the motor is a danfoss vlt 2800 400v input and output and this is where I need some help. I have only ever messed with one inverter and that is the one on my woodturning lathe! I know how to connect them up, but don’t really know a great detail about what all the parameters are apart from the obvious of voltage, frequency etc.
When the motor is running the vlt flashes with error codes 12 and 13 and when it stops it has an error code 9. It says inverter overloaded when looking at the codes so because a new motor has been fitted I was thinking either inverter is knackered or parameters have been changed.
I just wondered before I go back tomorrow if anyone could give any advice on what to check? I don’t want to mess with any parameters I don’t understand.
Thanks again
