Discuss MT2 or YT2????????????? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

I think YT1,2,3 and so on may have been MKs name for their mini trunking initially but is now used as a general term. And anyone who relies on self adhesive carp is a bodger ! :p
I should have said lol. I only use it in cupboards sometimes for alarm cables to get it fixed in awkward places , I still screw it though when I get it placed.
I never use it for mains cable.

I would mostly use sticky stuff
It holds it there, leaving my hands free for the screws and driver

Oh and mini trunking 2 is my call,YT2? I don't know what the Y bit meanso_O

I think @Dave OCD is correct , same stuff - different terminology.
I just had a quick peek too.

i just ask for sticky stuff to put cables in. 1 cable sticky or 2 cable sticky. sssssimplesss.ifit starts falling off, a few clip nails fix it till the cheque clears.
