MT2 or YT2?????????????

Just a thought.... What's the correct term/code? Is one for sticky back and the other not? If so which way round? I've just always said MT2 or MT2 sticky back in the wholesalers. Just something that popped in to my head

This has been the only thread that has us all baffled (except for @Andy78 who nailed it and should be the next President of Electricity!)
I truly don’t know how we’ve all survived this long, sole traders, CEOs and PAYE among you - we’re just lucky that this lack of knowledge hasn’t got out to the public - they’d never trust us again.
I’m for MT2 by the way and put my own sticky pads to hold it in place before fixings!

Around here they just seem to call it T1, T2, T3 not heard YT used since I was an apprentice.

MT2 around here and just add s/a if you want the sticky stuff.
I still prefer the marshal tuffex to the cheap brands stocked around my way but as i use the smaller wholesalers they only stock the cheap trunking that shatters if your not to careful

I have always called it 'Min 2', 'Min 4' etc. That's what my old boss calls it and it has stuck with me, one wholesaler i use call it 'Min 2' etc the other, CEF, call it 'yt 2'

About the only thing CEF are good for is their mini trunking IMO. Easy to manipulate as the lid has a lip that clicks in rather than the other way round.
