Seeing the PV install is going to be starting soon I thought I'd treat my bungalow to a new CU and replace old 3036 one with an 8 way RCBO board. The only RCD's in the place are the plug top type I have on the extension leads. (Only been in here for a year)

I haven't had any dealings with a domestic board since collage so have no idea which one is pleasant to install.

We get great discounts with Schneider here so may look them.

I've come across a Marko board with RCBO's for ÂŁ100. Although I probably need to add the cost of a fire extinguisher to that.

What a brilliant yet simple idea. And the outgoing terminals side by side rather than the neutral tucked away at the back and fiddly to access in a 'busy' board.
