Yes your looking at an easy 4-5 grand to get set up on your own. Scheme payments, tools, insurance, gear, stock, van, etc, list goes on. Nightmare. Have you appled for many firms so far? how are you finding the feedback?

Yea exactly, its hard to work out why people would turn down free help, but i guess if you look at it in another way, if your busy and need to get jobs done fast to maximiuse your eanring potentila you dont wana be holding someones hand on a job, and because everyone does things in their own individual way many times, it can be difficult for guys to adjust to having a mate who may do it another way. Do you have any pals who work in any trades you can jump on with? Best thing to do is try and blag up all your ftriends and family and get busy in their gaffs on the cheap just to get your eye in.

We do web-design for electricians as a company - but looks like the new site you have is pretty good! We also do SEO if you're interested!

Thanks, Jake

I think you would need a bigger book than our regs bvook to teach you how to get listed on the first page of google.

How much we talking for seo

The chap who has just done my website for me is also very handy at SEO. Hes currently doing my google places for me. What sort of figure are we talking Test to get ranked top 3 on google then?

Would that not depend on what your searching under wade, im no expert on SEO but its all about keyword and keyword precence within your site, and creating a good balance so the search engines like you, if not they ignore you.

Top 3, i think you would have to pay highly for that position. first page would be a good start.
