Discuss New EICR - editable PDF certs in the Periodic Inspection Reporting & Certification area at ElectriciansForums.net

I think they are really good, the only thing I dont like is they are loosly based on the NIC version, as in the test result section is spread over 2 pages, if the sheets were landscape, and over 1 sheet for all results off a circuit, that would be really nice, not sure if that can be altered easily, but hey still good,

excellent work Steve. :stuart:
could i ask if anyone has the new forms on a word doc format please????
sorry for this but i am in the middle of the Afghan desert & just want to keep things simple out here.
thanks.

Wow, didnt realise they had a section or tick box for different country, you may need a different type of cert, ot are they all for outside buildings/tents lol

Does anyone know if these changes mean that I have to re-sit my 2391 or is this to ensure that installations are tested & inspected properly.

Thanks

Top man... It would have taken me a week and they still would have looked like i'd used my John Bull printing set and a ruler... Many thanks

No you dont have to resit 2391, but yes you do need to ensure that installations are tested & inspected properly.

Hi, and thanks for these forms. One thing i can't manage to do though is save these forms as a pdf as an uneditable pdf. If i fill in one of these forms and email it to a customer the customer can re-edit it, obviously that's not good.
I fill out my other certs using some free certs i downloaded, for those i use open office, from that program i can create a PDF which can't be edited, however open office can't use these files.

Paul.

Hi Tester Steve,

I really appeciate you providing these, thanks.

I have found a few typo's though, if I PM them to you, would you be prepared to edit the original?

If you print it to a PDF file it will no longer be editable. Click on Print, select PDF, select where you want to save it to.
