Discuss New EICR - editable PDF certs in the Periodic Inspection Reporting & Certification area at ElectriciansForums.net

Ah ok. Thanks for that.

Does anyone know if how we can make changes to these forms? Ive tried to delete bits to make it similar to the NICEIC one but it wot allow it. How did Mark access it to change it?

Thanks

Hi Mark,

have you paid for a serious piece of picture / document software then?

I have an ad done by a graphic designer, he can edit it and it's a .pdf. Dunno what he uses though. What do you use?

We have been updating our certs and have created the new EICR that will come with the next amendment. You can insert your own logo and the signature fields also take an image if you need to email them to your customer. You will be prompted for the report number. Please RTFM!!!!! All the usual bits, no warranty, liability etc, just enjoy!:D

Perhaps admin can make this a sticky?

Steve.

Hi Mike,
These are the slightly amended versions of which other forum members have spotted errors and have been corrected.

You should be able to open them in that version of adobe, maybe you have a setting on your version that needs amending?

Mark.

Single board, page 3 of 9, M.observations, what is the yes/no drop down box/list for, is it for answering if any remedial action is required or if further investigation is required ?

Paul.

Could I please ask for help with the EICR forms, hope you don't mind. How do you input your own logo the field seems to be protected unless I am doing it wrong. Hope someone could please assist. The forms are great.

I just click on the logo field, then a window opens, navigate to wherever your logo is on your pc.

Hi Paul, thank you for your reply, I tried that and the applet just turns red I do not get another window. I am using windows XP, adobe reader X and java script is enabled. When I open the forms I do get a message saying 'the PDF file needs a newer version of adobe reader, any ideas, many thanks again.

If you print it to a PDF file it will no longer be editable. Click on Print, select PDF, select where you want to save it to.
