hi just bought a new oven
its a 4.4KW
i`m running a 6mm cable from the cu using a 32mcb to kitchen around a 6M run under floor boards then 2m in trucking to a 45amp cooker socket
just wondering the security mcb is dismantled
best to place the 32mcb in here or put the 32mcb left of the dinning room mcb
thank you paul

That split load Consumer unit hasn't been wired the best in all honesty. It would have been better mixing the lighting and sockets across the 2 RCD's. You could correct this but it makes for more work and can get a little confusing depending on your knowledge level (i have seen someone do similar and not take over the corresponding neutrals for the circuits.

Anyway, it doesn't matter which side the new cooker circuit goes on to, imo it would be better on the RHS which it looks like there is room for at the side of the security mcb if you remove the blank?
Have a look at part P also as i believe this to be notifiable work.

New circuit, Needs notifying to building control, Will need an EIC and if putting on RCD side of board RCD will prob need upgrading. I would put it on the right hand side to balance the board a bit better and use a Type A RCBO ....Get a sparks in

It does, only one side is rcd protected. It has to go on the rcd protected side.

Yeah my bad there........ive been looking at that many CU's from photo's these last few days that i saw 2 rcd's! Thats what you get for being up at 5am with baby in hand! Best ignore my first post which would have been sound advice if there were 2 rcd's.......which there aren't.

It is ofcourse a main switch and 1 RCD, i would refer to it as a 16th CU normally. If CCU has socket outlet it needs to go on the LHS.
