It was my own fault - I should have understood the specific request, despite it not having been made or even implied.
I used to have this 20 inch Facom, the only problem is it was so big I always overfilled it - carrying things like big spanners for large SWA glands and mutiple crimp tools that were only needed rarely. I sometimes felt like apologising carrying it upstairs when all I was there for was to change a light switch.
Eventually, due to shoulder strain, I bought the 14 inch version, which means I can't put too much in, and like it much better. The shoulder recovered after a few months as well.
The only thing I've found to fail after a while are one or two of the internal straps that hold tools in place.
