Alright guys ive decided to pick up some new tools as the ones I got are fairly basic (JCB) Drivers & I was looking at this CK set for 200

Electricians Starter Bundle BARGAIN from The Crimp Company

& was wondering if I should get that or would be better off buying Separates for the same Money im also looking for a Cordless drill for around 100
if anyone's got any advice on the one to get for that Money it would be great thanks.

I Like that CK set but id rather have a decent tool bag as I plan to pick up more tools as & when I can afford them.

looks like a nice set but might be cheaper shopping around for bits here and their, toolstation, screwfix and wholesalers have some good deals on too. b&q are doing a decent stanley tool bag for 20 quid

Thanks for replying I have been having a look around on different Sites for bits & bobs as the cheaper I can buy the tools the more I can get. il have a look at that tool bag on B&Q.

can recommend ck magma tote as a toolbag. The one in the bundle is good but sometimes too small.
Good for tester and papers and some tools, too small for regular work.
Some tools in the set may not be much use (automatic wire stripper, mains tester), some can be subsituted for cheaper alternative (hammer, knife, tape measure). have a good look in the shops and think about it :)

Cost too much for what I want to spend on a Bag just found a Stanley FatMax Tote bag on Amazon for only 29 quid
Anyways just built up a tool list on Amazon along with a Bosch 18v Li-On Combi drill for 310 Delivered so il go for that if I can't find anything good in the shops on Friday.

BUY AS YOU GO ALONG , SET OF DRIVERS£30 bacho, CABLE SHEARS £20 Bacho or ck the 8.99 ones are good too, tape measure £10, fat max bag £20, pliers £20 knipex , aand a good bosch 24v drill even 2nd hand and and 18v drill loads of we bits like fish tape , cable rods alen keys , glan pliers etc can all be bought when you start earning..... cheap rachet/driver set from halfords £10, loads of white tape and markers and pencils £10

i was bought that home base drill bosch 18v, all i can say is one battery, no good , still going a year later tho, but i do plug in sds if lots of drilling, joists etc im getting panasonic 18v for crimbo, and second hand 24v bosch hopefully

tools u buld over time,
ebay has some tool sets

and drills pay more better the drill its best to get a 2 battery set to

I know but I saved up a little bit of money from my last Job so want to buy them now rather than as I go along (That I will do with Test gear & more expensive Tools etc)

@ Johnuk thanks for the Link I might swing for that instead of the Bosch drills.

I have that toolbag and am pleased with it. I do not have any of the tools listed tho.
Glancing at the list I would say you may well only be saving around £50. I personally would go for separates. Wera drivers are very good and I could not do without my Bahco ergo sidecutters.

Although I am a big Bosch fan, I would opt for a Makita. They seem to have the edge at this end of the market.

Hope that helps

just noticed, OP is from liverpool. can't be a proper scouser though, or he'd have nicked all the tools he needs by now. LOL. :laugh3:
