Discuss NICEIC certification software in the Certification NICEIC, NAPIT, Stroma, BECSA Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

i know nic are doing software now that prints onto plain paper but you still have to buy the cert numbers

i went to one of there talks and a company ...not the nic , was selling them which i think is odd. i rang them and you still have to purchase the cert numbers from them

I use PIRFORM - Home - PIRform

This has a branding option for ELECSA, but I'm not sure about NICEIC. You can brand the sheets with your company logo. All the repetitive stuff (such as test equipment serial numbers) is pre-populated.

Handles EIC, MWC as well as PIRs (as the name might suggest!)

Hi dingledong

just to let you know that i worked for a well established firm who are NICEIC registered and they NEVER used nic certs or cert numbers (simply generated his own), they had custom ones designed by the boss, although nic did try to pressure him into using them he told them he was not going to and pointed out that his forms are compliant with BS7671 and asked if they would like to loose his annual subscription..... they soon backed down.

Good on him, when already paying hundreds or thousands a year you shouldn't be forced to buy a set of certificate or report numbers.
