Hi ,

have a question about the niceic domestic installer scheme requirements.

When joining It it says that they require 1 years worth of installation certificates

How can you issue installation certificates if your not registered with scheme ?

Thanks

About time the DI scheme was abolished, get to college and learn properly for heavens sake, this is to all of you 17 day building regs guys, do not waste 5,6,7 or 8k on a building reg, try and learn some electricians qualifications which will have merit and help you become competant, part p is a BUILDING REG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BOOM !!!!!!! Thank the lord

Have you not considered doing the notifiable work at your own property? Maybe a family members? The assessor isn't interested in who's who!! As long as you are confident in your work, the job's a good un!
My god has the trade come down to this now, we are lower than a snakes belly

and of course the other benefit to this advice is that as your qualifications/experience grow, you won't have to be limited to the cut-throat domestic market.

MDJ - I am impressed by your patience/stoicism/resolve - that enables you to continue to 'respond' in good humour to these kinds of questions lol

Edit: But of course the finger delivers the goods!
