Discuss NICEIC inspection and testing qualification in the Certification NICEIC, NAPIT, Stroma, BECSA Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net
Im on the NICEIC apprenticeship scheme they started a couple years ago. just to see how we would cope with the new way to study.
also the NICEIC test & inspect. which is exactly the same as the 2391 its just not a 2391 if you know what i mean, not many companies will recognise it but is all legit and approved.
What body has this qualification been legitimised and approved by?? If it's just by the NICEIC then it's not worth the paper it's written on!! Think about it, ....If it's the same as the C&G 2391, then why aren't they involving the C&G Institute officially??
Not much time left for the 2391
2 exams soon 2394 & 2395
Out of interest, if you do the NICEIC course are you automaticly enrolled on a the competent persons scheme for Part P?
That would be a great business ploy from them, if you have not done their course no registration and as everybody asks for NICEIC.... ill let you guys do the maths.

You would still have to pay your fees, but the only people to recognize your "qualification" would be NIC meaning you would have to stay with them, or fork out for more courses at your own expense.

Are you referring to to commercial and industrial related contracts or the domestic part pa lava ?
If its part p and householders
Probably 95% have never heard of it
Of the remaining 5 % who have heard of it,they either couldn't give a monkeys about part p, or they would employ any schemes member
I was referring to the part P, what a scam that would be if they went along the lines of all registered or newly registered scheme embers must complete their own course as well as pay the membership fees. And the course is their own what is not recognised, it would potentialy be another ÂŁ500 odd quid from every member, and then take it a step further they need to re-sit it every 3 years.
Why else would they invent their own version of a qualification?
Napit did the 2391 pretend version first with the NA2391,recognised by Napit but nobody else
It helps tie the hapless moneygiver to a particular scammer outfit
The Niceic have most likely just copied the Napit method of earning a few more bucks out of the sparks, they will then probably permit the Domestic installer thingee, to do Eicrs with their blessing
