personally id rather go electronic
Tysoft Easycert does that now on EICR. If you fill in the comments and a code it fills in the observations box for you quoting the regulation. I miss PIR forms myself, much less time to fill in.I've been looking at maybe purchasing this you can Auto copy C1/C2/C3 information to Observations area of the Electrical Inspection Condition Report form.

PIRform does that now and includes the reg number too!
Was there a thread on here not so long ago about some issues at PIR form? I can't remember what exactly but I think it had something to do with someone leaving.
How can they justify charging you for a electronic cert? Do you alsompay for the software?
I think its bang out of order for the NICEIC inspector to even comment on lack of use of electronic certs
