asked to quote for putting in a humidistat fan in bathroom and two outside lights but...

old board, 16mm tails, no rcd; no bonds to gas or water

when i said you need earthing in place and the work i carry out will need a rcd garage unit as its work outside and in a bathroom which is all going to cost alot just for when she wanted a small job done. i felt like a jobs worth

cant see another, way can you?

in a house the other day earthin was t n s but only 10mm main earthin. was talkin to the kitchen fitters who said they gave a price from my boss to someone who was havin a new £8000 kitchen fitted for electrical work but this guy told em he would pull cable in himself. I think the attitude is if its not on show it dont matter but i would have said the opposite was true. What do you guys think. Have you had this before?
