First large domestic rewire for me
[ElectriciansForums.net] Not sure what to think
on my own, all going well and completed my dead testing on completed circuits a week ago. Tackers arriving tomorrow so thought I'd test again today and came accross this - see picture ! can't help thinking it's malicious

For what reason did you decide to do the dead testing for a second time? Did you have a sense something could have been damaged?
Sort of, House renovation mainly by builder however client came directly to me for electrical work. I'm hoping a mistake by those doing insulation but part of me thinks builders annoyed losing out money through direct client works

Have you brought this to the clients attention? Without your spidey sense, you might have energised the installation, everything running smooth until 5pm, after you’ve gone home and the clients house is smouldering away happily.

Is that particular circuit rcd protected?
Has it caused an N-E short or L-E? The former wouldn’t trip an MCB like the latter would.

Not wanting to sound pessimistic but if malicious could there be any more instances of sabotage?
How have you got on with the other parties on site?
