Hi, does it comply with the regulations to run a cable in a notch in the wood upright of a stud wall and then nail plasterboard over it (taking care not to nail the cable)?
The position of the notch is within 150mm of the corner/end of the wall in the prescribed zone.
In this case drilling through the centre of the stud is not practical because the stud partition wall butts up against a brick wall.
