I'm looking at an old mem board for a periodic that has an 80A rcd as its main switch, unfortunately has no other markings on it for bs/en numbers.
does anyone out there know what its likely to be? i very much doubt its 61009
the rest of the MCB's look like bs 3871's, the house was built early 80's.
the main earthing terminal is sealed so unable to inspect the connections or check continuity- is that an acceptable limitation or should I insist on seals being cut to carry out continuity from supply to board
lastly I'm thinking code 4 for the main switch as legal and rcd trip times all good but obviously not to current regs.
thanks in advance
