old pyro

whats the best size metric equivalent for an old lighting pyro?
3l1.5 is slightly too loose 2l 1.5 is too tight.
would re tapping the pots to a slightly bigger size work or a solder ring at the top?
any tips would be appreciated

Pyrotenax did publish a chart of imperial cable sizes with their metric size equivalent, current capacity and metric fittings sizes. Have a search around the forum and you should find it somewhere I'm sure.
Some cable/pot combinations do have to be soldered while others need the sheath fettling with a bit of emery.
