OLEV audit what a joke

Our audit was fine however the Niceic accredited auditor gave us a code 2 for putting the cat 5 cable through the same gland as the twin and earth supplying the charge point.

The manufacturers data states the data and power can go through the same gland in a photo as well (zappi)

Further more the data cable is monitoring band 2 voltages through a CT how am I supposed to keep 50mm away

Complained to the NICEIC and they will be contacting the auditor as it’s not correct code 2 for that.

I could go back and change it but out of principle I’m very cross and the NICEIC are puzzled as to why this has been flagged

Exactly my point, I was so cross that I contacted the electrician who audited me and he said ev ultra cable should be banned.
I had no words past that point and I politely said thank you for your time and have a lovely week.
He then said the 30cm clipped bit of twin and earth clipped surface between the fuseboard and the chargers point needed fire clipped beyond words

Another case of someone assessing to what they think the regs should be, rather than what they are.

I had an assessor like that.
He came up with such nonsense.
I emailed all his nonsense to Stroma, they were suitably embarrassed. They did insist on sending another assessor out though, who passed me without any non conformities.
Stick to your guns and give very clear evidence in an email as to why you are right and he is wrong.
