I'm just trying to work out what a 'yard' is.
a concrete thing at the back of some houses..
Bit of useless land at the back of your house (Back Yard) or just over a metre, 36 inchesI'm just trying to work out what a 'yard' is.

What annoys me is when they split inches up decimally instead of using fractions. Incredibly confusing. The yanks still do drawings in them.... They will never change..
