Hi

I have just used a basic socket tester on one of my double electric sockets and it is reporting ‘Open Ground’

Other sockets are reporting correct

Any advice?

is likely to be dangerous, if a faulty device is plugged in to it, then the protective devices that keep you from being less alive than you are now may not work correctly and save you.

get it checked by an electrician ASAP and don't use it until it has been repaired.

Very informative and helpful. I would have thought that the real intended purpose was to make money.
