Outside lighting question

I've got a job next week installing some outdoor wall lights, the lights are in a brick wall on an outdoor wall on a drive wall, the lights will be hooked up to a timer on a 5amp fuse. Would standard indoor 1.5 mill wiring in conduit be suitable? Tom

will be using twin and earth flex cable

Never heard of that type of cable, is it something new or imagined?
