Pantry Lighting

Hi Everyone, thank you for letting me participate. I have a small pantry in the kitchen that has no lighting. I have tried battery operated motion pucks but once the batteries go dead, you tend to forget to change them. I would like to be able to plug in some sort of LED strip lighting but in order to do that I need an outlet. There is a light switch right outside the pantry I would like to tap off of but I’m sure the box is attached to a stud. Long story short, can some provide advice on how they would tap off this light switch and put a power outlet inside the pantry? Thank you

I have photos but not sure how to attach them

If that's all the wires that are behind the switch, then what you are wanting to do won't be as simple as you were hoping. You have the 'hot' wire and probably the ground, but no neutral.
Edit: If that switch is part of a '3 way', then you may not even have the hot.
