This is just one of the many jems that i come across on a regular basis, (yes even with the invention of part p and its strict policing) i thought i would share with you if only to cheer someone up.:grin:

Step 1;
Don't bother wasting time drilling a hole share one that's already there......

then run cable along the Bathroom wall (yes bathroom, with a shower)

extend with a bit of terminal block......(still in bathroom).....

use 4" of cable to go through wall then extend again.....

Don't bother with that centre bit of wire (there's no rcd anyway), try not to worry about the burn marks on the paint job or trip on it as you come down stairs.......

connect via a socket because there always handy, don't worry about fusing or isolating any thing that only takes more time...

securely clip cables to wall...................

extend once more, you only need twin terminal block as you omitted earth a while ago.....

and finally install outside lights.
