Just to let you all know I passed the 2391 I had a call from the college to confirm yesterday massive weight off my shoulders PHEW

Thank you for all your kind words. I done mine in Aldershot which has a retraining centre. Due to the numbers thet have dispensation from the guilds to run the courses monthly. Due to the small numbers they get marked quicker I think.

I can hear you all shouting at your PC,s another 5 week electrician!! Well Im not I have 3 years experience, went to college for 3 years, Got C&G 2330 L2+3, 17th, Domestic installers course, Almost completed NVQ 3 and AM2 is booked for March.

I am considering doing the Solar PV course what are your thoughts??

go for it. you can never have too many quals in this game mate. and the way solar is going get in early

Why not have a go at the

City & Guilds Course: 2391-20
Level 3 Certificate in Design,
Erection and Verification of Electrical Installations
(Previously named City And Guilds 2400)

did the exam in 3 dayz, in the snow, mega troubles to get there, plus had to move location cos place was shut down. never thought i would pass cos i probably didnt study enough. however lads its not as hard as you think is. cover the basics that you havd learnt, rule of thumb, earth fault paths and your descriptions of testings. keep ur testing desciptions 2 the point and remembr the correct procedure and good luck
