passed me 2330 301 tonight

Hi all

Just wanted to say i have taken the 2330 lv3 301 exam tonight and passed with a distinction in 13 mins a lot easier than i thought and a lot easier than the 2391-10 i did in 2010 lol

Great job mate. Not taking anything away from you but the 2330 first exam (301) is childsplay and if you can't get that you shouldn't be on the course. Its the written exam and final science exams that sort the men from the boys.

Thanks Bruce. Well done!! Soon you will have finished everything! And highspark I agree, looking at the questions and having to use you brain to answer than multiple choice is much difficult. I see a lot of studying for me ahead....

f= B I L and all that, the way i see it if you turn up too classes your flying

i done practical for this 3rd year course other day and il tell you it was tight going... it consisted of mini house installation and bathroom with a sub boad being the garage. it did take the full 3+ hours for me

but they cant be as hard as the 2391 and i passed that first time to like every other exam i have done all with around 90% or higher and one with 100% its easier if you put the effort in
whatever the exam
Like i will for the 302 and 303
there were a few that didnt pass who didnt turn up every week or study in own time
I wouldnt have passed if i hadnt as we have had 5 tutors since sept and some have teached the same stuff and not covered other bits so its not all down to them some of its the college so good job i taught myself like i did for the 2391
the tutors say this is the hardest and the others are easier but i will take your word for it as they are written not clicking a mouse with abcd

not bad though seen as i and another lad who havnt done lv2 but done the 2391 got the highest marks in the fastest time i could do it in less than 10 mins but i checked through as there were a few that i hadnt covered doing the course or in study usual cryptic C&G
But we are also the most committed

The motors and Science is just as hard as the 2391. i've done them both and I too passes the 2391 first time.

thanks for the heads up as the college isnt very forthcoming with what is coming up and basicaly what to study so I jsut revise everything I can
we have had 5 tutors its hard to keep track its not surprising so many fail either through not turning up or putting the effort in
All i know is all the courses i have done so far are not as in depth as when i was doing my apprenticeship in 1986 as I still have the notes from the 1st year and we did far more then than we do now
and there was a lot more practical
there is another guy same age as me didnt finish his apprenticeship
He has been sparking in industrial , commercial etc and between him and me we work it out between us if anything we are struggling with someone to bounce things off
we have been helping the others with the little practical showing them how to do safe isolation and how to carrry out testing using
megger, robin seperates and a fluke so that instead of a full class stood round 1 rig watching with only one or 2 getting a go at any testing
they have all been getting some time actually doing it
Dont get me wrong mate I dont go into any exam feeling 100% confident but i prepare the best i can to ensure there are no resits
as we are paying for all the courses i have done and it hasnt been cheap lol
