you has well frog marched your customer there has well .For me paying in a cheque is an hour of my time by the time I drive to town, I pay to park, walk to the bank, queue up, then do the reverse should be billed.

I think charging an additional fee specifically for card payments is now banned/illegal (or something like that), if an admin fee is to be charged they need to be charged to other forms of payment as well. See here2% admin fee if they use a credit card But paying cheques is a pain in the bum.
Ask your bank when they will be introducing an app ?
