I was thinking as per thread title why don't we post up some pictures of how we do the simple common things, would be interesting to get different views and also show the people new to the trade how things ought to be. I'll start off with a simple 3 plate ceiling rose pendant that my son did yesterday, I think it's pretty good.

Ah I've seen boards made by M.K. Crabtree and B.G. Wylex but never J.R. Hartley.

i like the tamper proof lock offs..... NOT.

They need a tool to remove so they do comply. When the circuits are locked off the same person, or company, may not be returning to site to energise. this saves a lot of hassle trying to find keys or get combi codes.

The sites are restricted access for trained engineers only so no risk to the public.

Chinese rectifier, try getting those MCBs without an 8 week lead time. Bloody horrible things.

We usually use coded padlocks set to the last digits of the site number for similar things where different companies are working on the same stuff.

Yes of course. Can't see any harm in leaving a little airflow anyway.

So do we, except these sites don't have numeric codes which messes things up a bit.
