Hi all - I am looking for some guidance around the MET for a PME installation. I am doing my first new build, which has had the supply installed, including meter and 100amp switch, however there is no earth wire provided?

Is it the suppliers responsibility to supply the earth to a MET, or is it my job?

Regards

Ant

Doesn't know where to connect the earth despite the DNO label? Calls the earth cable a CPC? There should also be a label at this point 'safety electrical connection, do not remove' thingy.

Why does it? There's no DB

It's not got one silly, there's not one in the picture is there.

Really some people, having to explain the basics to them.

Think he was just querying how physically he got to the terminal, I do plenty of domestic and have only had to do this once, all the other times (on pme) they've fitted an earth block with about a foot of 16mm going back into the head.

If it was a PME as described above then yes you would have to run separate bonding along side the feed!!!
But that's a whole other topic...

Here you go, I lend you this. Although not promising it will work
