I'm with HandySpark, I don't see it having much appeal at 200 quid unless you're doing lots of backboxes in dry wall every day.

What a pointless invention if you can't cut a box in plasterboard neatly and at a good pace then you deserve to get ripped off for 200 notes.

Anywho...i have been asked to help a pal,cut a meter square window out,in the vault of what was a bank.

It is 18" thick,and may yet have HSS jumble,inbetween the re-bar...a rock-hammer hidden in a Bible,may be insufficient

Also, seeing as plasterboard is abrasive, they will have to sell replacement blades too, which are probably nearly half the cost of the tool alone!!

what's wrong with not using one of theses .

I took one of those 85mm blades pictured, cut the sides off...

... and voila, perfect squares in plasterboard. You can see it can't quite plunge full depth in the corners, but a quick whack with a hammer to punch out the square, just causes some slight paper tear on the back, not an issue.
